Creamy Garlicky Tahini Sauce.
One word YUM! This sauce/dressing is one of the most requested and accompaniments made from my blog. It is so perfect for all things Mediterranean. From grilled salmon, salads, Salad bowls, appetizers and so much more. I make some form of this sauce tweaking it just a little depending on our mood. It’s creamy, a little garlicky, lemony with rich tahini-olive oil flavor. So if you enjoy these flavors make it often as we do and enjoy with all your Mediterranean favorite foods.
Creamy Garlicky Tahini Sauce Makes 1 large cup
- 1/3 cup Tahini paste
- 2-3 cloves garlic chopped or minced
- 1/3 cup plain Greek or regular yogurt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- upto 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Blend all the ingredients in high speed blender until smooth and creamy.
- You may have to scrape the sides a couple of times to get everything well incorporated. Add more water if the sauce seizes or until desired consistency has reached.
- Serve with all your Mediterranean favorite dishes.
