Holidays can be overwhelming. If you’re looking for a fuss free party appetizer here’s a simple compliment worthy idea for you. I find assembling food around a board looks festive, appetizing and very stylish. What you’ll love is this party platter involves no cooking. All you need to do is take a trip to your local grocery store pick out some items. There are plenty of special party foods on sale this time of the year. Here is grocery list to help you navigate.

  • ✔️ Colorful seasonal fruits (sliced apples, orange segments, pears neatly sliced.
  •  ✔️Vegetables cut into bite sized pieces think beyond the usual crudités look for colorful carrots, Belgian endive, colorful cauliflower
  • ✔️Nuts look for spiced nuts for some extra flavor
  • ✔️Olives and Pickled Vegetables most grocery stores have olive bar by the deli look for fun ideas there
  •  ✔️Crackers and breads neatly slice bread into bite diced pieces for easy scooping
  • ✔️Dips Hummus, guacamole cheese dips, make your own or buy already made ones.
  •  ✔️Cheeses Bake some brie top it with nuts and pomegranate, experiment with new cheese, many stores will let you try before buying so ask!
  • ✔️ Smoked nitrate free Meats, smoked salmon, cooked spicy Shrimps

      Hi Rhonda- thank you so much for your kind words. I sure need to add more gluten-free recipes. Most of my recipes are made with organic produce.
