KALE CHIPS! I thought of adding some healthy grains, nuts and seeds. The result was pretty good. The first attempt needed some tweaking, I over baked it that turned the kale bitter. So the second time I baked it on very low heat and it came out perfectly. This granola is lightly sweet, savory, super crunchy and goes beyond your morning oatmeal&#8230; think soup, salads, rice, chopped fruit, yogurt, grilled foods, tacos or my favorite way, scoop by the \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup shelled pumpkin seeds<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup Walnuts, halved or quartered<\/li>\n<li>1 bunch curly kale, leaves only<\/li>\n<li>1 Cup white buckwheat groats<\/li>\n<li>1\/2-1 teaspoon hot cayenne pepper or any hot chilli powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup nutritional yeast<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup Chia Seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground turmeric<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon Coarse Salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup Maple Syrup<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons Olive or coconut Oil, melted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DIRECTIONS<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Toss all ingredients together in a bowl until evenly distributed and well coated in syrup and oil.<\/li>\n<li>Spread the seed and nut mixture out evenly over a parchment t or non-stick may covered baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Place in the oven and cook for 2 \u00bd &#8211; 3 hours, stirring about halfway through.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the oven and let cool.
