I mean meal size salads, not simply lettuce tomato kind. Salad Ni\u00e7ose was one of my favorite meals I ate in Provence, I loved the fresh crunchy vegetables covered in in that zesty mustardy dressing. It\u2019s really simple made with the freshest market vegetables, delicious tuna and a great <b>vinaigrette<\/b>. &nbsp;The key to a great Ni\u00e7ose has to be the vinaigrette. There is no hard rule to this salad just make sure you pick some awesome vegetables and pair it with a protein of your choice. On this occasion I choose smashed chickpeas, if you find a great piece of fresh wild salmon on or a sustainable tuna go ahead and use that. For me chickpeas worked well this time.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few different components to this salad, but it makes a full dinner size for 4 people and some more. So it\u2019s definately worth the effort.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nutrilious.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/92296BE3-1452-49F0-9C36-C9F3A7791420.jpeg\"><img id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-3\" class=\"ingredient\">2 fat cloves garlic, grated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-5\" class=\"ingredient\">1\/3 cup olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-6\" class=\"ingredient\">1 tablespoon Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-7\" class=\"ingredient\">kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-10\" class=\"ingredient\">1 \u00bd cup baby tomatoes, halved or left whole if small<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-11\" class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd medium red onion, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-12\" class=\"ingredient\">1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-13\" class=\"ingredient\">3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-14\" class=\"ingredient\">2 tablespoons red wine vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-15\" class=\"ingredient\">Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-17\" class=\"ingredient-label\"><b><u>For the Salad&nbsp;<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-18\" class=\"ingredient\">12 oz chickpeas, cooked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-18\" class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 lb baby Dutch potatoes boiled till tender halved if they are large<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-18\" class=\"ingredient\">3-4 hard boiled eggs (leave out of vegan)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-18\" class=\"ingredient\">2-3 good quality anchovies optional (leave out of vegan)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-19\" class=\"ingredient\">8-10 oz or more French Haricot Verts, or any green beans of your choice blanched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-20\" class=\"ingredient\">2-3 small Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-21\" class=\"ingredient\">5-6 cups dark green lettuce (romaine, Butter Lettuce, Little Gem)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-23\" class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd cup castelvetrano olives, pitted or olives of you choice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-24\" class=\"ingredient\">4 oz snap peas or asparagus, blanched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-25\" class=\"ingredient\">1 cup diced Radishes, halved or quartered depending on the size<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-26\" class=\"ingredient\">Fresh Parsley or basil chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"zlrecipe-ingredients-list\">\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-ingredient-27\" class=\"ingredient\">Fresh Chives, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"zlrecipe-instructions\" class=\"h-4 strong\">INSTRUCTIONS<\/p>\n<div id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-0\" class=\"instruction-label\">For the Lemon-mustard Vinaigrette<\/div>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-1\" class=\"instruction\">Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Season with salt and pepper as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-2\" class=\"instruction-label\">For the Marinated Tomatoes<\/div>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-3\" class=\"instruction\">Combine the tomatoes, red onion, oregano, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and toss to combine. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-4\" class=\"instruction-label\">For the Salad<\/div>\n<ol id=\"zlrecipe-instructions-list\" class=\"instructions\">\n<li id=\"zlrecipe-instruction-5\" class=\"instruction\">On a large serving platter, arrange the market lettuce, from there all you need to do is pile on the ingredients. &nbsp;Cooked chickpeas, blanched French beans (haricot verts), cucumbers, blanched snap peas, olives, potatoes, radishes.
