Indian lemonade is salty spiced with cardamom and sometimes ginger.<\/p>\n<p>Another beverage that&#8217;s very popular is lychee juice or drink. Maple sugar optional, I skipped because the lychees were sweet enough.<\/li>\n<li>2 cups iced, purified water<\/li>\n<li>Lime wedges and ginger slices for garnish)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon \u00a0ground green cardamom ( optional though highly recommended)<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ginger juice, \u00a0grated on a micro plane to extract juice, \u00a0about a thumb sized<\/li>\n<li>ice cubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Start by washing and peeling the lychees. Then remove the seed.<br \/>\nPlace lychee flesh in a high speed blender, cover and blend on high speed until smooth.<br \/>\nAdd lemon juice, maple syrup or sweetener of your choice, cardamom, ginger juice,water and blend until thoroughly combined.<br \/>\nIf you do not like the pulp, strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve.<br \/>\nServe in a pitcher and glasses topped with ice cubes.
