Because they&#8217;ll finish cooking in the oven, do not overcook it.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Butternut-Marinara Sauce<\/strong>: roast the butternut until very soft, blend with stock, marinara until a smooth nonna-esque sauce is achieved. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Brown the ground  turkey\/chicken or sausage<\/strong>\u00a0with the onion, garlic, spices and herbs, cook until 90% cooked. Fold the lightly cooked kale and parmesan cheese. Spoon the mixture generously into each cooked shell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assemble your baked ziti.<\/strong>\u00a0Carefully spread a layer of butternut sauce.\u00a0Place the stuffed shells neatly on the sauce, spoon the remaining sauce over the shells.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top the loaded shells with fresh<\/strong> <strong>cheese: <\/strong> shredded fontina or mozzarella\u2014cover with
